Hemline tatting shuttle.

Tatting is a needlecraft that turns threads into lace edging, doilies, collar and other decorative pieces.

To wind the removable bobbin:

Pull shuttle edges slightly apart, and take the bobbin out.
Insert the end of your thread through the hole in the bobbin from the inside, and then holding the end of the outside wind your length of thread on.
Place the bobbin back into the shuttle and you are ready to begin.
